About the opportunity

As part of our growing demand worldwide, iluminr have a new opportunity for a Director, Sales & Partnerships. This opportunity is designed for an accomplished sales professional who is passionate about accelerating our Go-To-Market strategy and growing the organisation’s new business revenue through a successful sales team and relationships with key partners.

In this role, you will get to:

  • Challenge the status quo: You will not only learn how to master and demonstrate iluminr for value creation, but also challenge the status quo on legacy practices and technology to create value for customers and partners alike.
  • Take the lead: You will play a pivotal role in successfully managing iluminr’s growing sales team both locally and abroad, in alignment with our Go-To-Market strategy.
  • Drive performance: You will oversee and manage iluminr’s new business pipeline of prospective customers, directly managing the sales team’s activities and performance through key indicators such as pipe velocity, meeting conversion rates, sales cycle, average contract value and new business revenue.
  • Unlock partnership success: You will take a lead role in strategically unlocking key partnerships including insurers, brokers, consultancies and technology vendors.
  • Lay the foundations for customer growth: You will work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure that new customers are transitioned onto a repeatable pathway of achieving their resilience objectives, leading to ongoing revenue expansion activities.
  • Collaborate for success: You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Engineering to not only drive sales performance but assist in evolving the resilience discipline.

We’re looking for people who have:

  • A track record of managing a high performing sales team in a B2B environment
  • Experience in successfully developing and managing partnerships that deliver tangible growth results
  • Leadership qualities supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong moral compass and integrity
  • A consultative approach to sales and partnerships, underpinned by strong engagement and interpersonal skills
  • The technical aptitude to master and improve our sales tools and processes for greater effectiveness and efficiency
  • High octane levels of energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation and hustle
  • A naturally curious mindset and a love of learning
